The UAE lies on various routes of migrating birds; therefore, ornithologists and bird admirers can have a great time here. Green areas, golf courses, parks and lagoons are particularly good for bird watching. The best places to observe birds are Rams’ lagoon area, mangroves area of the RAK Creek, some beaches in Ras Al Khaimah and the bird sanctuaries along the coast in Umm Al Quwain (especially Sinaiyah Island). If you want to identify some of the birds and do not have the appropriate knowledge, you should look into the bird guides available on the market.
