If you want to go fishing on your own or with a group of friends, you may charter one of the boats situated by the creek at the end of Corniche Road or in the district of Al Maarid. There is a chance that you will catch marlin, sailfish, mackerel, tuna or barracuda. Fishing from shore is also popular, although a catch is not always guaranteed.
