Saqr Public Park Location: Kharran Phone: 07 2443938 Open: 7.30am-11pm, weekends for families only Fees: 2dhs pp., 10dhs per car, additional fees for the rides. It has a vast expanse of greenery perfect for a picnic. Additionally, it houses rides, slides, a small train, electrical cars, computer games, snack bars and entertainment for the whole family. This is a pleasant place, but should be avoided at Eid and during other local holidays as it can get crowded. Further from the entrance you can find picnic spots that are quiet and empty. There are designated areas for barbecue, so you can bring some wood and enjoy grilled food. Pets are not allowed inside the park. __________________________________________________
Dahan Garden Location: Sidroh St, near the sea and perpendicular to RAK Main Road. It is a small playground for children by the sea. __________________________________________________
Hisn Garden Location: RAK Old Souq. This small green area is situated in the middle of the RAK City, and it is a place to take a rest between visiting a museum and going further for a shopping in the RAK Old Souq. __________________________________________________
Corniche Road Although it is not truly a park, it is one of the greenest and most attended places in Ras Al Khaimah. Many people use the word ‘park’ to describe its promenade and small green grounds with palm trees and flowers.
