A number of local and foreign universities have set up in Ras Al Khaimah. Further plans include opening of additional and highly specialized higher education institutions such as Al Hamra Academy or Film and Fine Arts Academy. To obtain information about present and future educational project you should contact RAK Educational Company, which is responsible for development of the higher education in Ras Al Khaimah.
Students who want to enrol into one of the colleges in Ras Al Khaimah should hold a general secondary school certificate and expect to pay tuition fees starting from 15,000dhs up to 60,000dhs for a semester. Nationals can attend government institutions free of charge.
