The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs runs a centre in Ras Al Khaimah for nationals with hearing and visual impairment as well as physical disabilities. Several privately run centres also exist for the children that require extra attention. Private schools in Ras Al Khaimah are not yet geared towards severe learning disabilities.
