Alcohol is sold in some hotel bars or restaurants associated with hotels. Apart from that, you can purchase alcohol in a few alcohol shops in Ras Al Khaimah, but only for consumption at home. The variety of wines, beers and spirits imported from around the world can surprise any buyer. Alcohol is not sold to Muslims and the buyer must be over 21 years of age. Alcohol shops are closed during the period of Ramadan.
