RELIGION IN RAS AL KHAIMAH AND THE UAE
80% of the population who do not hold UAE citizenship consist of Muslims (76%), Hindu 15%, other faiths including Christians, Parsi, Buddhists (9%).
The UAE is one of the Islamic states and the constitution of the UAE declares that Islam is the official religion of all seven emirates.
All of the UAE nationals (less than 20% of the UAE population) are Muslims, 85% of them are Sunni Muslims, while the remaining 15% are Shia.
