Ras Al Khaimah, just like the whole UAE is an Islamic state; the constitution of the UAE declares that Islam is the official religion of all seven emirates.
All of the UAE nationals (less than 20% of the UAE population) are Muslims, 85% of them are Sunni Muslims, while the remaining 15% are Shia.
80% of the population who do not hold UAE citizenship consist of Muslims (76%), Hindu 15%, other faiths including Christians, Parsi, Buddhists (9%).
