SHOPPING MALLS At the time of writing, Ras Al Khaimah has three shopping malls: Manar Mall, Al Hamra Mall and Al Safeer Mall. However, several others are under construction or await their opening.

Designed as a modern mall, it offers to its customers shopping, dining and entertainment experience. The mall hosts some well-known shops like Next, The Body Shop, Woolworths, Sun and Sand Sport, Dorothy Perkins, Paris Gallery, Hush Puppies, Nine West, and more. A cinema complex, fun city for the children and a Carrefour hypermarket are also located inside the mall. Being the most popular spot to hang out at, Manar Mall is a very busy place, especially in the evenings and on the weekends. Families that seek relaxation or a green setting for a picnic often visit the promenade outside the mall. There are also games and rides for children, and the enjoyable creek view. Sometimes during festivals and on the UAE National Day, local music and dance performances take place outside. Numerous commercial, promotional and business events are organized occasionally in the so-called amphitheatre of Manar Mall, which is located in the middle of the mall.

CLOTHING SHOPPING
Extensive selection of local fashion is available in the souqs. Your attention will be probably drowned to beautifully decorated abbayas displayed in the shops’ windows. The designers of these abbayas apply their creative talents to make each product unique and astonishing. The abbayas are usually decorated with beads and with embroideries, and there are seldom two alike. The quality varies, so the price, therefore roam around the shops to find the model and finishing you like.
Indian style clothing can be found in the district of Al Nakheel. A choice of colourful saris, kurtas and salwars will most definitely impress everyone. Pashimans, cashmere like wool shawls, are also popular products and widely available in the area.
Both areas also host tailor shops where you can order clothes made especially for you. Tailors adeptly replicate ready-made garments, so bring your favourite party frock as a model. Ultra-chap tailors can be shoddy, so seek recommendations or test them with a simple garment. Always confirm whether quotes include fabric and add-ons.
To purchase modern style clothing, you have to visit shopping malls and other smaller shopping centres. They usually host international and local boutiques that sell genuine, affordable international designer-label clothes and accessories. Additional, popular places to buy clothes are Splash, Max or Sana Fashions. Al Safeer and Lulu Centre also have a section with clothing and shoes.
