VISIT VISA FOR INDIVIDUALS Fees and duration of stay: 500dhs / 30 days or 1,000dhs / 90 days For whom: visitors of all nationalities, except those from the free-visa-on-arrival- countries* and nationals of GCC countries **. Conditions and requirements: visa is sponsored by the resident or an establishment within the UAE. Note: expatriates are not allowed to sponsor friends, only first-degree relatives. Renewal: not renewable.
VISIT VISA UPON ARRIVAL Fees and duration of stay: free of charge / 60 days For whom: nationals of the free-visa-on-arrival-countries* and nationals of GCC countries **. Conditions and requirements: entry permit received at the airport upon arrival. Renewal: renewable for 30 days. Fee: 500dhs.
VISIT VISA FOR GCC RESIDENTS Fees and duration of stay: 100dhs / 30 days For whom: GCC residents** Conditions and requirements: entry permit received at the airport upon arrival. Renewal: renewable for 30 days, twice. Fee: 500dhs each time.
TOURIST VISA Fees and duration of stay: 100dhs / 30 days For whom: tourists of all nationalities. Conditions and requirements: visa is sponsored by hotels, tour operators, or travel agencies. Renewal: renewable for 30 days. Fee: 500dhs.
EDUCATION VISIT VISA Fees and duration of stay: 1,000dhs / 60 days For whom: students enrolled in an educational centre in the UAE. Conditions and requirements: visa is sponsored by the educational centre in the UAE. Long-term students should already have a residence visa arranged by an educational establishment before entering the country. Renewal: renewable for 60 days, twice. Fee: 500dhs each time.
MULTI- ENTRY VISA Fees and duration of stay: 2,000dhs / 180 days For whom: visitors of all nationalities. Conditions and requirements: valid for visits of less than 14 days at one time. The visitor must enter the UAE on any other type of visit visa and obtain the multiple entry visa while staying in the UAE or apply beforehand at the UAE embassy in your country. Renewal: not renewable.
CONFERENCE OR EXHIBITION VISIT VISA Fees and duration of stay: 100dhs / 30 days For whom: visitors to conferences and exhibitions. Conditions and requirements: visa is sponsored by the events’ organizers in the UAE. Renewal : not renewable.
MEDICAL VISIT VISA Fees and duration of stay: 1,000dhs / 90 days For whom: medical patients. Conditions and requirements: visa is sponsored by an attested medical establishment in the UAE. Renewal: renewable for 90 days, twice. Fee: 500dhs.
SPECIAL MISSION VISA Fees and duration of stay: 200dhs / 14 days For whom: businesspersons. Conditions and requirements: visa is sponsored by an establishment within the UAE. Commonly, but not correctly known as a transit visa. Renewal: not renewable.
TRANSIT VISA Fees and duration of stay: 100dhs / 96 days For whom: transit visitors. Conditions and requirements: visa is sponsored by the airline when booking a ticket. Only issued if evidence of outbound flight is shown. Renewal: not renewable.
EMPLOYMENT VISA Fees and duration of stay: fees covered by the employer / 30 days For whom: foreigners who come to work in the UAE. Conditions and requirements: visa is sponsored by the employer. It is not a work permit; it only allows entering the country. The employer should arrange a residence visa and a work permit within 30. Renewal: not renewable. |
